Avoirdupois operates a vertically-integrated design manufactory in lower Manhattan. All facets of production are completed within the studio on Varick Street including CNC machining, welding, annealing, heat treatment, fabrication, finishing, engineering, testing and final assembly. All pieces are designed and engineered by James Stumpf and fabricated under his supervision. Manufactory visits permitted by appointment only.
